Aloe gariepensis grows in the arid interior of South Africa along the Gariep (Orange) River. The flowers mature and open progressing from the bottom toward the top of the raceme. Flowers in this species change from orange to yellow upon opening.
About Michael Newberry
I have always been a visual person. Photography allows me to express the emotions I feel from the interplay of light, color, textures, and form created through the juxtaposition and counterpoint of structural elements in the visual world.
